Today is the official unleashing of Soul Search and Rescue! You can get this Soul guidebook as an ebook or paperback on Amazon. I am deeply grateful for everyone who has supported me through the entire book manifestation process. If publishing a book is like birthing a baby, then mine was a challenging, emotional delivery.
Did I give it enough love, care and attention? Are all its itty-bitty parts there? Don’t drop the baby.
I can’t say I came through looking like Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge – all dressed up and made up for public presentation. I’m still wiping the sweat off my brow, and my hair needs to be brushed. But, I’m pretty proud of myself for getting to the finish line with my bundle of joy in my hands.
I’m still figuring out how to keep Soul Search and Rescue alive and thriving. How do I get the word out? How do I keep its message relevant? The intention of the book isn’t about hitting bestseller or getting on Oprah, although honestly, I want it to be successful. Its own little mission is to get into the hands of anyone who is frustrated with the search for purpose. Its goal is to help others get back on track to their Soul calling.
It’s hard not to throw everything I have to get the book and website going. But, I’m reminding myself to let the runway be as long as it needs for takeoff. I can feel ideas and sparks of inspiration brewing in my head, and I’m going to nurture them until their ready.
We are all on a journey of self-discovery and self development – call it spiritual awakening if you will. I want to be able to throw out questions where we get to think deeply and beyond. I’d love to create the community where we are supporting and encouraging that process. It took me along time to articulate those desires. What desires do you have for a community/support group? What desires do you have for yourself?
